Sharjah Private Education Authority and the Police Science Academy in Sharjah Signed a Joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

Sharjah Private Education Authority signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the Police Science Academy in Sharjah regarding training programs for affiliates. This initiative falls within SPEA’s commitment to expanding strategic partnerships to achieve its goals and objectives aimed at enhancing the educational system and achieving unprecedented academic outcomes.

The signing of the MoU reflects SPEA's strategic goals, which align with its vision of developing personal and life skills through fruitful partnerships. The Police Science Academy in Sharjah, as a pioneering institution with extensive experience in enhancing safety and creating a secure environment within educational institutions, will equip teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective action.  

Her Excellency Dr. Muhadditha Alhashimi, Chairperson of Sharjah Private Education Authority, affirmed that the signing of the MoU reflects a progressive vision and a continuous commitment to enhancing the quality of education. This commitment is evident through expanding cooperation with prestigious institutions to achieve strategic goals and provide an outstanding and integrated educational environment that enhances the skills and knowledge of affiliates, enabling them to become leaders in their fields. 

She added that this partnership will open up new avenues for fruitful cooperation and significantly contribute to the development and improvement of the educational system. Consequently, it will achieve unprecedented academic outcomes. This underlines SPEA’s commitment to building bridges of communication and cooperation with various entities, affirming its commitment to continuous improvement and development in the field of education.

Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director General of the Police Science Academy in Sharjah, expressed his pleasure at the constructive and productive cooperation with the Sharjah Private Education Authority and the signing of this memorandum. He expressed that its positive results will be reflected in both parties through the adoption of joint training programs, the granting of joint professional qualifications, and the development of competencies for personnel and teachers in the field of first aid at the Academy and affiliates of the police force and the Sharjah Private Education Authority. He indicated that the aim of this memorandum is to enhance government work and provide human resources with various experiences and qualifications that enable them to perform their duties effectively. This supports the educational and training process and provides a safe and sustainable educational environment.

Both parties aim, through this memorandum, to achieve the initiative of training teachers or affiliates by SPEA, whether in first aid or any other courses provided by the Academy. They also aim to provide primary healthcare in emergency situations within schools, where affiliates can be the first responders to incidents of various kinds and learn how to deal with such situations.

The MoU includes facilitating communication with licensed schools by SPEA and sharing school data with the Academy to serve the work field of both parties. It also directs SPEA’s employees and workers in private educational institutions to participate in training programs provided by the Academy. Additionally, it entails participating in joint activities, events, and conferences to exchange experiences, and studies between both parties. 

The provisions also stipulate that the Academy shall offer both practical and theoretical training to participants in the program. This training is aimed at enhancing their capabilities and efficiency, equipping them with knowledge and skills, and improving their ability to respond quickly and effectively to health emergency situations through agreed-upon programs. Additionally, affiliates in the training will have the privilege of participating in joint activities, events, and conferences to exchange expertise, experiences, and studies between both parties. Furthermore, administrative training programs will be provided to employees of Sharjah Private Education Authority.
