Sharjah Private Education Authority announces the formation of the Nursery Directors Council

Sharjah Private Education Authority announced the formation of the "Nursery Principals’ Council" in the Emirate of Sharjah as a step to enhancing effective partnerships between SPEA and private educational institutions in the Emirate.

The announcement was made during a meeting chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Muhadditha Alhashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, and attended by His Excellency Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority. The meeting was also attended by a selection of Principals from both government and private nurseries. During the meeting, the process of selecting council members was reviewed, and their roles were introduced. Additionally, discussions were held regarding the schedule of nursery inspection teams' visits, exchanging experiences, and successful practices among the members. 

Her Excellency Dr. Muhadditha Alhashimi thanked the nursery Principals for their efforts and wished the council success in its tasks, urging them to work positively and with a spirit of teamwork to enhance the educational level in the emirate.

She stated, "The formation of the Nursery Principals’ Council is an important step towards enhancing the educational quality in nurseries in the Emirate of Sharjah," adding that the council plays a vital role in unifying efforts and facilitating communication and collaboration between government and private nurseries, ensuring a rich and stimulating educational environment for our children. She affirmed SPEA’s support to the Nursery Principals’ Council to achieve its future vision of providing excellence in education in line with the best global practices. 

H.E. Ali Al Hosani emphasized the importance of the council in developing developmental and professional plans that contribute to achieving the strategic priorities of SPEA in improving the quality of education provided to children, noting that the council's agenda will focus on enhancing performance in nurseries across the emirate.

He stressed the importance of councils, whether school or nursery Principals ' councils, as a link between all stakeholders in the educational process. He stated that the Nursery Principals’ Council is a voluntary advisory educational council representing all private and government nurseries in Sharjah, comprising a group of competent and experienced Principals. Its main tasks include contributing to the development of strategic plans to achieve SPEA’s future vision, interpreting educational policies and directives, and identifying field needs, and proposing appropriate solutions. 

The board of directors includes Afnan Mohammed Yaqoob, Aisha Hussain Al Loghani, Aisha Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Amira Ahmed Saad Ahmed, Helana Adel Abdel Saeed, Maitha Hamad Al Kaabi, Manal Shihwan, Mervat Ahmed Suleiman, Nada Omar, Ola Ziyad, Roxana Tomkinson, Shaima Yahya Al Hanaawi, Zainab Abdulnadir, Shakfatih Ehtesham Hussein Haji, and Ahmed Shaikh.
