Sharjah Private Education Authority Organizes Brainstorming Session Titled "Towards Sustainable Impact"
The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) organized a brainstorming session titled "Towards Sustainable Impact," with the participation of Her Excellency Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of SPEA, and His Excellency Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA. The session also included a select group of experts and specialists in the education sector, students from Sharjah's private schools, members of the School Principals' Council, members of the Nursery Principals' Council, and experts from the Sharjah Education Academy. The session aimed to explore the future of private education in the emirate and prepare for the launch of SPEA’s strategy for the years 2025–2028.
The session sought to identify key future priorities to support and develop education in Sharjah, addressing influential factors and methods for measuring them to enhance the sustainability of the sector.
The event featured a range of activities, including presentations, team-building exercises, and discussion panels focused on critical topics such as sustainability in education, inclusive education, well-being, and the schools of the future. A portion of the session was dedicated to discussing quality initiatives such as student skills development and assessment, along with a discussion on the Education Index for Sharjah's educational institutions, which will measure the quality of private education across multiple dimensions.
His Excellency Ali Al Hosani emphasized:
"These sessions are part of SPEA’s efforts to realize a forward-looking vision for education that aligns with Sharjah’s aspirations for an integrated and sustainable learning environment. Our strategy focuses on several key foundations, including empowering educators and enhancing student capabilities through innovative initiatives and advanced educational programs, aimed at preparing resilient and knowledgeable generations equipped to face future challenges. The goal is to position Sharjah’s schools as exemplary models of outstanding education that promote student well-being and contribute to the growth of the educational community."
The session concluded with the launch of a series of strategies designed to enhance the sustainability of the private education sector in Sharjah, aligning with global best practices and standards.
These sessions are part of SPEA's ongoing commitment to improving education quality and fostering a flexible, innovative learning environment that prepares future generations to overcome challenges and achieve excellence.
