In order to receive reports related to children exposed to risks and assaults of all kinds, the Department of Social Services established the Child Helpline in 2007, which specializes in the following areas:

• Physical assault on children
• Sexual assault
• Emotional assault
• Family neglect
• Commercial exploitation

This is to deal with these cases through a specialized team that works to remove and correct the danger to the child.
