Forum of the Arabic Language Teachers
The Fifth International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers
Today’s global education landscape is undergoing rapid transformation driven by advances in knowledge and technology. These developments present new challenges for teaching methodologies and educational outcomes. Within this evolving context, there is an increasing need to advance Arabic language education in ways that strengthen its role as a language of knowledge, science, and cultural identity, while simultaneously responding to the demands of contemporary education.
Inspired by this vision, and within the framework of efforts aimed at advancing Arabic language education and reinforcing its position within educational institutions, the Fifth International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers, organized under the auspices of the Sharjah Private Education Authority in collaboration with the Sharjah Education Academy, serves as a distinguished educational and academic platform that brings together experts, researchers, and teachers from various educational institutions.
This year’s forum is held under the sub-theme:
“Impact Measurement – Linguistic Security”
The theme highlights the importance of evaluating educational outcomes and assessing the impact of educational initiatives and teaching practices in strengthening the presence of the Arabic language and reinforcing its linguistic identity within the educational community. It also reflects sustained efforts to support and empower teachers by developing their professional tools and capabilities in line with rapid developments in knowledge and technology.
Significance of the Forum
The significance of this forum stems from its role as a specialized educational platform that contributes to advancing educational dialogue on the current state and future of Arabic language education. It also provides a scholarly environment for the exchange of expertise and experiences among teachers, researchers, and specialists in the field of Arabic language education.
The forum also fosters the development of professional learning communities that contribute to enhancing teaching performance and the exchange of best educational practices, while supporting innovation in Arabic language teaching methodologies. This, in turn, positively impacts the quality of educational outcomes and contributes to achieving linguistic security for future generations.

A Living, Contemporary Language: A Language of Life, Culture, and Innovation
The International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers aspires to keep pace with the modern era and to present global experiences and best practices through showcasing the experiences of the forum’s international guests and their authentic field-based practices, from one classroom to another, and from research and study to experience and application. In doing so, the forum affirms the unique character and enduring presence of the Arabic language as a custodian of heritage, identity, and faith. During its golden ages, Arabic was the language through which science, knowledge, translation, philosophy, literary creativity, and scientific innovation flourished, laying the foundations for the Industrial Revolution and enriching humanity, a contribution that continues to this day.
