Project Overview
The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) has launched the “Science Leaders” Project as a strategic initiative aimed at developing students’ scientific skills and conceptual understanding in the fields of Science and Mathematics, strengthening their scientific and critical thinking capabilities, and connecting academic concepts with real-world applications. The project seeks to prepare a generation capable of addressing future challenges and contributing to a knowledge-based economy and sustainable development.
The project is founded on an integrated improvement and development model that combines educational leadership development, teacher empowerment, and the enhancement of student learning through the use of artificial intelligence and modern educational technologies.
Project Objectives
The Science Leaders Project aims to:
- Promote scientific and critical thinking in Science and Mathematics by equipping secondary school students with advanced skills that enable them to analyze problems and address real-world challenges effectively.
- Develop leadership competencies among school leaders to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Enhance excellence in educational practices by equipping Science and Mathematics teachers with innovative instructional strategies aligned with international best practices.
